Advanced Open Water Diver
The PADI Advanced Open Water course provides you with the means to try new aspects of diving that interest you and expand your diving experience.
It will also extend your depth range so you can begin to explore new sites. The program is flexible and provides the opportunity for discovery and exploration. It allows you to customise your training path and learn various underwater tasks that are of interest to you.
To certify as an Advanced Open Water Diver, you must complete five adventure dives. Participating in an adventure dive is often the first step new divers take after they are certified.
For the Advanced course, one of those must be a deep dive, which qualifies you to dive to 30 meters (or 21 meters if you’re aged 12 to 14) and another must be a navigation training dive. The other three adventure dives you can choose, and we will be happy to guide you through your options.
