Hannah Marsh

Hannah began diving at the age of 14 but learned to dive to gain her Open Water with Dive South in 2006, and since then has discovered a liking for being underwater despite completing her OW dives in January! She gained her Advanced Open Water and Nitrox and continues to develop as a diver.

Hannah spends her working time training to be a Paramedic in the local area and holds various qualifications in life support including training and working in Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa. Hannah has a real passion to the medical side of things and has been an Emergency First Response Instructor since 2008, now teaching with Dive South.

Hannah’s qualifications include EFR instructor, IHCD Ambulance Technician BTEC level 3, International Trauma Life Support, Heart Association Basic Life Support, IHCD First Person on Scene, SWAST Community First Responder, Ronin Remote Medic Graduate (South Africa), Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology and is currently working towards her Degree in Paramedic Science. Despite this she is always looking for new things to learn and new challenges to take on and is always happy to pass on skills to others. Her aim is to teach high quality courses, which gives students the confidence, the knowledge and hands on training to encourage use of their skills outside the classroom while having lots of fun too!!
