Night Diver

As the sun sets you donn your dive gear, slip on your mask and pop your regulator in. A deep breath and a step off the boat - into the underwater version of night. You might have seen this reef many times before, but this time is different. You watch octopii walk the seabed, lionfish hunt, or lobsters prowl. Night diving focuses your attention in a new way and opens up a whole new world, one that most people don't even realise exists.

You'll learn the theories, skills, problems and hazards of night diving; procedures for bouyancy control; navigation and communication; use of dive lights and buddy system techniques; disorientation and emergency procedures; and receive an orientation to nocturnal aqauatic life.

Once qualified you can dive with a buddy anywhere in the world, outside of the supervision of a Divemaster or Instructor, in conditions similar to or better than those you've got experience in, at dusk, night or dawn.
